The news that I was flying to Phils for a short weekend spread in the office. I spread so many rumors* about myself, that they had to verify with one another whether I was really flying out, thus the *chismis* traveled. Nat: Could you buy me cheese cake?

Me: Cheese cake? What cheese cake?

Nat: Cheese cake. Philippines is famous for it.

Me: ??? I don’t know what you mean. What’s cheese cake?

Nat: It’s cheese cake, Von brought it before.

(Went to Von)

Me: Von, ano yung cheese cake na pinagsasabi nya?

Von: Ah… ensaymada yun.

Me: Ah okay.

(Went back to Nat)

Me: Hey Nat. It’s not cheese cake. It’s ensaymada

Nat: Insamade? So funny ha….

Me: Ensaymada…

Nat: Insaymadeh?

*** tried to pronounce 3 or 4 times***

Me: No, no… It’s en-say-ma-da

Nat: Huh? That’s baby!

Me: What baby?

Nat: Insaydmader….

*** Eventually realized that she meant, *inside mother*. Laughed so hard. Wrote it on a piece of paper instead.

Whenever I see ensaymada, my colleagues and I call it baby. Hehehe. Recently stuffed myself with extra *babies*, so now, I’m sick of them.

Now tomorrow… is a totally different story.

I was in the office getting ready to go home. And for some reason, I was getting irritated with it. To the point it was already painful. I was thinking of waiting it out, since it was almost going home time. But I guess the friction of wearing it the whole day, made *it* red and sore.

So… I took it off. And deym… it feels good to be (in) command…o.

(My colleagues and I decided to eat out for dinner. And while walking to the *hawker centre* – which was a good 20 minute walk – I felt tickled by my little strip. I was at the point of telling someone, but it was a nice secret to keep. Hehehe.)

Yun nga lang, my latest steam story cost me around P4,000, more or less, to share. But as I said… I just had to.

Alam ko na maraming tao sa opisina gumagawa neto – yung kunwaring may sakit. Kse nga naman, minsan walang pahinga talaga o kaya may ibang gustong gawin, o talagang tinatamad lang. Tapos, ke gamitin mo o hindi, walang diprensya. Bayad ang pag hindi pag pasok kung may sakit. Hindi naman yung icoconvert sa pera o kaya dagdag sa bayad na bakasyon kung hindi mo gamitin. Kaya ang mga tao dito, kahit walang sakit, biglang may sakit.

Ginawa ko na to yung nakipaginuman sa barkada tapos sobrang ginabing uwi. Lasing lasing, so hindi ako pumasok. Ginawa kong rason yung gasgas na sakit na may alergi ako. Kaso dito sa SG, kailangan magpakita ka muna ng prueba na nagkasakit ka galing sa manggagamot. Kung wala nun, hindi bayad ang hindi mo pagpasok. Eh dahil ala naman talaga akong sakit nun, di ako pumuntang manggagamot. Dahil unang beses pa lang naman, sinabi ko na lang na hindi ko alam. Sa susunod alam pupunta ako.

Eh kinarma ata ako. Kse yung susunod na linggo, nagkasakit talaga ako. So pumunta na ngayon ako ng manggagamot. Binigyan nya ako ng gamot ng para sa sipon/ubo. Yung susunod na araw, inatake ako ng alergi dahil sa ininom kong gamot. Hindi naman malala. So nabigyan ako ng dalawang araw na hindi daw ako fit na pumasok.

Pag nagkasungay ako, at ayaw pumasok, inum lang ako nung gamot na yun. May rason na agad sa manggagamot. Hehehe. Ang salbahe ko talaga. Malamang kakarmahan uli ako pag ginawa ko to.
