Among other things, I’m extremely irritated. I can go on and on how, but it’s a waste of blog space. My last post was a rant already, and I don’t want to make another. Anyway, just shout outs for now to everyone out there, for now. Next week hopefully this blog is more active. Hehe.

Leaving you with something that made me smile. HEROES is coming back SOON. Very very soon! I’ve told myself not to read into spoilers because it can be quite disappointing watching the actual when you already know so much (kaya nga spoiler eh!). But I just couldn’t help myself. Today, when too many things have gone bad, I need to do get away. So here are a few. Please do not click more if you do not want to read more.

• We open four years in the future, with the oft-talked about scene where Future Claire aims a gun at Future Peter and pulls the trigger. Well of course you can’t kill a guy who can stop time. Future Peter does just that and disappears into the past, where …

• Future Peter shoots Nathan at the press conference, as seen at the end of “Powerless” in Season 2. His reasons: to stop Nathan from revealing the existence of super-powered people. After shooting Nathan, Future Peter assumes the identity of Present Peter. [We later find out where Present Peter has been keeping himself throughout all this.] Future Peter’s ploy doesn’t fool Matt Parkman, who can read his mind. Unfortunately for Matt, Future Peter teleports him to the desert seen in the promos. As it turns out, it’s more a question of when then where Matt has been teleported. [It is hinted at, I believe, that Matt has been transported back in time. Way, way back in time.] Mama Petrelli later shows up at the hospital where Nathan is being kept, and presumably through the use of her powers, knows that Peter is not Peter.

Erase and rewind.

Thanks to Ate for cheering me up. And yes, my situation isn’t that bad. Just give me tonight lang. Tomorrow I’ll be done.

Oh, I forgot. I’m in Manila, not some cool sitcom.

Following the meeting at the mediation office, therefore revealing a truth, our lawyer met up with me last Saturday to prepare me for trial that was to be held last Monday. He was to call me in as the first witness. We prepared exactly what he would ask, and how I would answer – word to word. We had a general idea what the counter attack would be, thus, we prepared how to answer those questions as well.

Come Monday, was at the Regional Trial Court as early as 8am for the 8:30 hearing. When we got to the RTC, I was impressed and pleased that it didn’t look like the crap Hall of Justice at all. It was newly built, clean, well airconditioned, seemed to be well planned-out space. The 12th Floor was divided to several rooms were the small trials were to be held.

There were 7 schedules along with us. And we were 6th in line. That means we’d have to listen to all 5 trials before being called. Which was fine, because our lawyer was able to show me how the process went, and basic do’s and dont’s.

Not fine though, because it was a total bore. :yawn:

By around 1030, it was our turn (after accomplishing writing notes, doodling, taking pictures from my mobile, going to the restroom about a dozen times, reading and studying my script) and I was called in the witness stand.

Please state your name, address, employer’s name and designation.

Please place your left hand on the bible, and raise your right hand. Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. I do.

Our lawyer then proceeded to ask me several questions, as per script, and *tried* to remember the correct way of answering, as per instructions – using Sirs and Ma’ams as necessary.

After which the judge asked their lawyer if he will cross examine. Which, to my obvious luck, he did.

I object, your honor. :bop:

Anyway, he proceeded to ask me yes and no questions and OBVIOUSLY leading towards “it’s OBVIOUS that you have no claim”. But since it wasn’t a black and white situation, where yes, is not just a yes, and no is not just a no, I tried to explain. And that prat of a lawyer, said “Just answer the question – Yes or No”. :biset:

Of course, I’d say yes. But there’s a BUT and he didn’t want to hear the BUT. I kinda knew it was like this. I mean, he’s not our lawyer. He would highlight the points that would go against us. But still, I guess I didn’t expect explosive and the making me feel *stupid* and harassed about it.

I still felt harassed about it, actually. Like I don’t have a right to claim. That even if we were taken for granted, used, abused and the feeling of linoko, it wasn’t because we weren’t doing the right thing, but because we didn’t document properly. In other words, he made me feel that I did a sloppy job.

He sure did a good job bringing down my morale. Making me feel as if I should just let go even if there was a breach in contract.

Our lawyer didn’t help much either. He read ONLY from the yellow notepad we prepared the weekend before. And even after the counter, he didn’t seem to give me a chance to explain. At least not in the way I wanted to, leaving me feeling in the wrong.

Lawyers suck. :weep:

That didn’t happen. I’m sitting in a coffee shop in Alabang BLOGGING. Contemplating on my foiled Singapore plans.

Here’s what happened.

My sister and her hubby planned to go to Singapore because Baj was to do some training there. They invited me to meet them there, so I planned my leave for it. I was excited coz I”ve never been to Singapore and it seems that most of my friends have been there. Plus one of my very good friends, Danna is there, and I couldn’t wait to see her again. She even planned to take a couple days off just to spend time with me. Just before I confirmed my flight, Nana called to say that they’re not pushing through. Apparently the class weren’t filled up, so there was no training to do. I still had the option to go, but as Nana and Baj were my primary reason for going, I decided to push it back. I planned to go end of October instead, so that I could take advantage of the long weekend (and hindi masyadong tight ang leave). But even that didn’t push through because Danna will be going naman to Australia our other friend. They invited me there as well, and I thought long and hard about making an Australia holiday instead.

At the end of the day, I decided that I’ll hold on to the Singapore money for a while. It’s more expensive to travel to Australia kse (3x the airfare alone). And although I could, it may not be the responsible thing to do right now.

So there. On a bright side, I was able to take a leave today from work since I got burnt out from the office. (A separate issue). Current rant is “too many cooks spoil the broth”. Ah well…

On a brighter side, I think I’ll use the Singapore money when my mom gets here. We could go to Boracay or Bohol or somewhere for a getaway. Thailand or Bangkok according to Ate, is cheaper. Ma, what do you think? Replace one travel plan with another…

Nag.

Nag AFTER I say I have a plan of action already.
Nag when you’ve given me instructions 3 times already.
Tell my peers to nag me to do the task.
Just nag.

Nag.

It doesn’t work with me. Instead of getting the work done, I feel that I’m not being treated as an equal. I feel that I’m not trusted to get things right.

What happens when I resist?

I either won’t do the job entirely, delay doing the job, or will do it but not put my 100% thus poor result.

Bottom line. Don’t nag. Just trust me.

Anyway, still laying low at work, so have time to do these. For sure September is going to be a bit more packed. I need to —
- Market CUL property and hopefully get an LOI by October at latest;
- Sell TCC property and hopefully seal a deal by October also;
- Finish off leasing remaining properties in TPT, SIA and AC; and
- Hopefully if we get the NSB account, start marketing that as well and close a lease for a floor.

(Lay low just for the sake of it, not because I have nothing to do.)

And of course, hindi lang puro work ang iisipin. Siyempre there’s —
- Kris’ hen party
- Kris and Harv wedding
- Kuya coming home (kill “Emile”)
- And getting ready for October… ooh I can’t wait!

Just when I thought that end of August means that I have cash because of the numerous closed deals last June and July, when I got my payslip and found out that 2 accounts didn’t come in! Argh. Our commission only comes out every end of the month’s pay. So now, I have to wait for end of September pa! Haay! Ay eto pala number 1 reason why I haven’t been motivated to work for 2 days. Another reason is because ang laki ng tax and ng deduction! Siyet!

Watch it guys. I recommend it, even when it got way too corny (the part with the French translations, didn’t like it particularly well). Oh, I did say that I’m not a movie addict, but I did get wowed by the Jackie Chan stunts. What can I say, I’m easy to please.

On a tougher note, I’m being grilled at the office with some boo-boos that happened to my client’s accounts. It’s becoming more challenging especially with so many legal issues coming up. Need to stay away from blogging actually as this is distracting. (As if, hehehe). I just need a breather.
