We are the champions!
I feel sorry for the UE Warriors. Their history has been 3rd placer for 5 years already. This season, they’ve been rooted to win. They had a 14-0 winning streak in the elimination round, apparently that hasn’t happened for the last 14 years. During the elimination, they beat La Salle once. So they were expected to win.
The only two times that UE lost in Season 70 was in the Championship Round, the games that mattered the most! I mean, how can you not feel sorry for them.
And to top it off, this is a new Archers team. Last year, we didn’t make it to UAAP because of being disqualified (panget ng record diba?) because of supposed cheating that happened the year before. So when they came back this year, most of the players were rookies. And yet they grabbed the gold. Talk about comeback!
Oh, and by the way, there was a 9 point lead (73-64). UE can rant that the first game was a fluke (1 point lead) but this one, definitely you cannot call a fluke.
So even if I feel sorry for UE (no UE jokes here; we can just go back to bashing Ateneo!) I feel that Archers fought the good fight. So, I’ll hold my green head up high because this year, we’ve redeemed ourselves. *Sing now* We are the champions! We are the champions! *tee hee*.

(By the way, if I get my stats wrong, please let me know. Most of these are hearsay. I’m not a big UAAP fan!)

For icing on the cake, I watched the Pacquiao-Barrera game with my relatives, with Manny winning the 12-round. Click here for the details. Hurray for a victorious Sunday!
addiction, addiction
I just finished watching Season 4 Episode 1 of Grey’s. Huli na ako sa balita, I know. Hard to get my hands on the show. And my goodness, buffering takes forever. Doesn’t help that work has been hectic.
I actually started watching after office last Monday. But I couldn’t wait for it to end, so now I had to do w/ the buffering all over again! Gosh that took forever!
But, oh my goodness… now that I’m done, I loved it! I loved the show. Drama, drama, too much drama. But I absolutely loved it.
Here are my fave parts:
The Mark-Derek scene rocked!
The break up scene of Meredith (I think she’s really spoiled though) and Derek. Oh and now I can’t wait for Ep. 2.
Oh and I got to watch the first 5 minutes of Heroes Season 2 Episode 2. Poor Peter…
I’m looking forward to watch that as well.
I’ve also resolved to stop looking at spoilers. I will be patient and stop watching previews. I realized that last week, but I still did it today. (Damn it). Now I’m so bitin with both shows! So well, this is a spoiler. Don’t be tempted if you don’t want any spoilers.
Let’s be addicted together!
I’d rather be green!
UE has had an unbeatable streak for the entire UAAP 70th Season. Today was the start of Championship Round with La Salle. Just moments ago, my colleague told me that La Salle won over UE with a one point lead breaking their streak.
Here’s the results:
1st Quarter: 14-20 UE
2nd Quarter: 37-39 UE
3rd Quarter: 47-50 UE
4th Quarter: 64-63 DLSU
Talk about drama! I can imagine how it was like at the Big Dome! Which also goes to show. La Salle wins the game that matters most! Go Archers! Keep it up for Sunday!
Animo La Salle!
new boys in my life
Forgetting time atbp
9pm still at office because of blogging. Or rather attempted to blog. I’ve started 3 different posts, and can’t seem to complete any. (This would make the fourth.) So I changed my look na lang. Still girly, but not in your face na. Hahaha! Pink na pink kse yung dati! Now, it’s funky. And I added widgets din.
Thanks to Blogger Buster. Na-addict tuloy sa blogging!

Anyway, still laying low at work, so have time to do these. For sure September is going to be a bit more packed. I need to —
- Market CUL property and hopefully get an LOI by October at latest;
- Sell TCC property and hopefully seal a deal by October also;
- Finish off leasing remaining properties in TPT, SIA and AC; and
- Hopefully if we get the NSB account, start marketing that as well and close a lease for a floor.
(Lay low just for the sake of it, not because I have nothing to do.)
And of course, hindi lang puro work ang iisipin. Siyempre there’s —
- Kris’ hen party
- Kris and Harv wedding
- Kuya coming home (kill “Emile”)
- And getting ready for October… ooh I can’t wait!

Saw this in an “about me” section while bloghopping, but lost the site. Dang. I liked it. I want to copy it. And to say… hear, hear.
THE BLOGGER WANNABEE… I am not a writer. I am not an intelligent person. My english isn’t that good. I don’t know the ins and outs of blogging. I’m not aware of guidelines and rules that should be followed, but hey.. so what? Do I really care? I was never good at following guidelines anyway. I only believe in one thing.. I am a human being, and I have a say. And when I feel like saying something, I will. If i can’t say it in english, i will in tagalog, and vice-versa. If you find some of my posts funny, informative, and worthy of your time, THANKS. If you don’t like them, or do not approve of my views and opinions, you are always free to click the “x” mark on the top right of your browser.

Just when I thought that end of August means that I have cash because of the numerous closed deals last June and July, when I got my payslip and found out that 2 accounts didn’t come in! Argh. Our commission only comes out every end of the month’s pay. So now, I have to wait for end of September pa! Haay! Ay eto pala number 1 reason why I haven’t been motivated to work for 2 days. Another reason is because ang laki ng tax and ng deduction! Siyet!

I just realized I haven’t finished making kwento about Davao trip! Sheesh. That’s so long overdue na! July pa yun eh! Hehehe! So gist na lang — GO TO PEARL FARM!
Hahaha! Para move on na ako to Cebu trip…

Looking forward to the weekend!!!
Started my week with a laugh
I’m not a movie addict, so I’m not the best critic. I can’t even remember if I watched the first two movies. But heck Rush Hour 3 was just hilarious. I loved the first scene with Tucker-Traffic-IPod. Riot talaga! Oh and the bloopers part din pala at the credits. Hahaha!
Watch it guys. I recommend it, even when it got way too corny (the part with the French translations, didn’t like it particularly well). Oh, I did say that I’m not a movie addict, but I did get wowed by the Jackie Chan stunts. What can I say, I’m easy to please.

On a tougher note, I’m being grilled at the office with some boo-boos that happened to my client’s accounts. It’s becoming more challenging especially with so many legal issues coming up. Need to stay away from blogging actually as this is distracting. (As if, hehehe). I just need a breather.
high and low
My high this week: A client expressed their intention of pirating me (boosted my professional esteem)
My low this week: not feeling the support of my team, daming away and disappointments
